I really like Navidson; he's my BFF. But I am an only dog and I am tired of having to share my humans (and my toys and everything else).
So while Marty and Lyle have been busy ignoring me, I've created a petition. Help me!
SEND NAVIDSON HOME!
(My grandhuman didn't know there was an actual petition, so in case it's not obvious: http://sendnavidsonhome.com/)
AA, I am really surprised at you and your petition......A Chesapeake NEVER turns his back on his friends.....I think you may have lost some of your Awesomeness with your petition.....may be time to go back to school and learn some better manners.......I would imagine that Navidson is not too happy with you either........
ReplyDeleteI'm not turning my back on Navidson! Navidson WANTS to go home. He misses his human and he misses the cat (I don't understand either). Also, I haven't exactly gotten a lot of signatures on my petition, so I'm not sure he's actually going anywhere.
DeleteI understand that houseguests can overstay there welcome and apparently there are facts that are not known about this situation by AA's supporters. However, the obvious question would be why is Navidson with AA and his humans for so long and where is his owner so he can go back home.......it is quite possible that the petition is not necessary if the answer to these questions can be found.......hang in there AA.....it would seem this is not easy for Navidson either......I know he will appreciate your support and understanding.......
DeleteNavidson's human got sick while he was visiting Navidson's grandhumans and had to go to the human vet. So Navidson had to stay longer than he wanted to. I actually really like Navidson (like I keep saying, he's my BFF) and I've really liked having him here. We get to play ALL THE TIME. But I want Marty and Lyle back to myself. And I want the "good toys" taken back out of the box where they got put away. So Navidson needs to go home. Then he can come back for another visit soon.
DeleteAA, this sounds like an emergency or crisis situation for Navidson's owner. I am sure he wants to get back home to his best buddy. It is a great thing that you and your humans are doing in helping out. Hang in there as things will get back to normal at some point and I am sure there will be lots of treats involved. This also adds BIG TIME to your AWESOMENESS......how cool is that.....
DeleteI got your back!
ReplyDeleteHouseguests can be lovely (we had one for almost 6 months), but time comes for the only-dog or introverted human (no matter how polite either might want to be) to politely but firmly send the houseguest packing. Even just until the next visit.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Navidson is welcome to come back for another visit soon. But he needs his own human.
DeleteI completely understand. My stoopid hoomins forced me to share space with another for a while. It was unbearable.
ReplyDeleteIf you really want to make your feelings clear I suggest biting chunks out of things they like.
- Perkins.
Marty gets really mad when I do that. I've found that barking all the time and peeing on things seem to be pretty effective.
